Code of Conduct

By participating in St. Albert Chess Club activities, you agree to abide by the following:

- Everyone contributes to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. Harassment or abuse of staff or other attendees will not be tolerated, and may result in revocation of privileges.

- Attendees are expected to be mindful of each other’s experience, and respect the rules of the event they are attending, from check-in to departure.

- It is your responsibility to act in good faith at all times. If a dispute arises, you will do your best to resolve it peacefully. You may request assistance from the Director if needed.

- Disruptive or unsportsmanlike behaviour will receive a warning. Repeat offenders may be asked to leave, and their membership may be revoked.

- You will help with the orderliness of the club by cleaning up after yourself and leaving equipment and furniture the way you found it. Parents are responsible for their children.

In short, everyone is here to have a good time, and we expect you to do your part in upholding that. We hope the St. Albert Chess Club will feel like ‘your’ club, not just a place you visit.
